Damn, what stress I have been under lately. I was in the ER for two nights for heart palpitations. I am still getting them now as I write but not as bad as they were when I first went to Emergency. The doctor gave me a beta-blocker to slow my heart down and subside the palpitations somewhat. I am still getting them and I can't stand it! I have an appointment to see the Cardiologist this Tuesday. I am also on Magnesium to help my heart.
On top of that I have been diagnosed with Hyperglycemia, a step before diabetis. My sugar levels are running in the 300's now today I got it down to 190. But that means no more sugar??????? No more chocolate donuts? Ho Ho's ? and the list goes on and on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the Fudge is going on....oh yeah can't even have fudge either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, life is hard right now and I need to know what's happening to my heart. I hope to get through this.
My boss at work has no compassion at all. She could care less if I died. She called and just wanted to know when I was returning, she didn't care about what is happening to me. Hey SGT! Kiss my ass you little.....eeeks. I need to let the stress go, but it's hard when people don't understand my condition called THALASSEMIA MAJOR.
Oh well, I hope to post more God Willing,......................
If I do not make it much longer I guess it's a good thing. No more pain or suffering. No more! And hopefully I will get to see all my friends that passed away and my FATHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am still alive. Almost didn't think I would make it. My heart was palpitating and beating so hard I thought I was having a heart attack. I had to go to Emergency yesterday morning. My heart was mis-firing and holy cow could I feel it. I just don't know if I might have a heart attack right on the spot. So many other thal patients go through this. They are fine one minute and then plop, they fall over dead from a heart attack.
The doctor at the ER said he would take an EKG. The results showed that I have a premature heart beat. Okay so?!!!!!!! So he says, avoid smoking, caffeine, blah blah blah.
My Hematologist (blood doctor) Says it's from IRON OVERLOAD, and that I need to do my DESFERAL more. Okay so I haven't stopped my desferal all week, I am scared shitless that I might drop dead from too much iron around my heart. My iron level is 8200, normal one being 50. HELLO! SO needless to say I hope I can stop it in time.
I SAY! as my own doctor, I have been sick for 3 weeks, still have a sore throat and am coughing up...well, you don't want to know. I think I have a virus and it's still in my system, these doc's seem to think that the penicillin I have been on for years will take care of it.....well no way.
Guess what Dr Cammilleri is going to do? Well I took a dog pill for starters. My mother had some doggie CIPRO left from her dogs surgery for infections. So I TOOK ONE. Bark Bark...oh excuse me I have to itch my ear with my foot........
Later....I feel much better and my heart has settled down somewhat. I am going to bed and thank the good lord above for giving me another chance, another day. That's all I ask for.

Didn't go to work today. My throat is so sore I can't swallow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to see my primary care doctor tomorrow for the first time. He's supposed to be a great Doctor. Pietropaoli!!!! He's Italian, so he must know of my blood condition "Thalassemia" .
Angela brought me home all kinds of stuff for my throat. Thanks Rohner! Those RICOLA's worked great. Which I will now put the quote of the night in this sentence. "those ricola's are made in Italy!" Rohner...... Ummmm "No they weren't rohner, they were made in Switzerland. You know, your part ricola, oops I mean your part swiss, you should know!!!!!!!!!!" Me.
I can always count from a quote from Rohner, she's chock full of em'.
So I slept on and off til 6pm.
I forget to tell you how my weekend went!
Had a great time with Angela, Andy, Pat at the Pasghetti's in East Rochester. The restaurant was on a what seemed to be an abandoned road!! The food was excellent. I wanted to go there cause I had a 50% off coupon. I forgot to use the coupon, so cause it was going to expire in a couple of days, Angela gave it to the people at the table next to us. How sweet!
I have to get my a@@ to work, I missed one day in 3 weeks, that is a record! I will get the drugs I need for this sore throat to go away tomorrow with the new DR!
Terry and my mom have been working on the basement kitchen where I live and it's really coming along nicely. New Ceiling!!!!!! New paint and new floor too!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woo hoo

"ALEX TAYLOR IS DEAD" yes, I knew this was going to happen. The thing about it was I didn't know "HOW!" she was going to die off. It was the most disturbing scene I have ever witnessed on a prime time show.
You can see that in this episode Alex (Amy Taylor) is too close to an explosion about to happen. You as the viewer know that this black vehicle is going to blow up because it contains some nitro in it that made the car go faster. Alex was helping an elderly couple right next to that car. Okay, so it blows up and the car with the elderly couple is blown up and Alex flys through the air. OKAY GET READY FOR THIS! The first part of her body with her head and torso drops and then a second later her legs drop right next to her and she turned her head right to see her own legs and feet facing her. IT WAS SO NASTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then to make it even worse they pull up on the camera angle so that you can see she was blow into two peices with blood in the middle. The car was covering the portion where she was cut off but it was so nasty to see that her legs fell right beside her. She said a couple of words. "How am I doing?" and "Tell my mom....." THAT IS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Damn, I wrote NBC a letter. I never write letters. It seems to me that I can usually vent, somewhere like here and get over it. It was just the way she died was so horrid and will be embedded in my mind. Crap, they could have done it a little better than that. I refuse to watch "THIRD WATCH" ever again. I have renamed it to "NO WATCH"

Say it ain't so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tonight is the night "Alex Taylor" dies off the show "THIRD WATCH". NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Amy Carlson who plays Alex is a super super actress. They never gave her enough time on the show! She's so damn talented and they are killing her off. I refuse to watch Third Watch after tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Taking Misty dog to get her distemper shot. She shakes at the Vet office! Poor Thing! Any other time she thinks she is a rottweiler! Barks at everyone and everything. Not true in the vet's office.
Work Sux, at least the SGT doesn't show up on Monday's so that's kewl.
Going to watch the Devils game tonight, they lead the series 2-0, two more wins is what I am hoping for so they can make it through this second round of playoffs!!!! GO DEVS!!!!
Okay, Tonight is going to suck, I hope Amy Carlson finds a better job. Third Watch is going rott after tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today was a long day! Work was the same ol crap. The computer at work was slow as hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate certain people at work but most of the others are really nice. After work I had to drop of a letter and a book to the post office for Joe Piscipo. I sent him a New Jersey Devils hockey guide from 1988 and a thank you letter telling him how much I appreciated him and all he did when he invited me to watch the Devils play! I had the time of my life.
I came home and went to take a nap. Didn't wake up til 7pm and realized I had to get my but to Empire Bingo to help my mom with bingo night. We hold a bingo session at Empire Bingo every Monday night at 7pm to raise money for my illness. Cooley's Anemia!!!! Anyway I had to help out tonight. I had to call the numbers in front of 332 people. Yikes! Talk about being on the spot. I was nervous, hadn't called in a long time. I was hoping I could keep my bingo balls straight. HEHEHEHEHE
I did a good job according to the bingo players so I was happy about that. My friend Lori Bumble Skittle was there with her hubby playing bingo. It is always nice to see people I know that are the best people in the world.
Angela has been working on redesigning my new Cooleys Anemia site. She's doing an excellent job so far! I get to update it and add photos when she's done. Thanks Rohner!

SHIT! I am still sick and missed work on Monday and TODAY! I have been indoors since Friday. Damn. I guess it gets darkest before the dawn. I just know I feel like shit. I can't wait to go back to work so they can tell me that I miss too many days cause I am sick a lot. Well, I have a hard time fighting off the flu and da bugs cause I don't have a spleen to help with infections. So I rely on my white cells and pills to do the job. I will get better, I just hate how long it takes to feel better.
I am going to get my next transfusion this Friday. Friday is my day off for "Good Friday". I usually get transfused on Thursday's but I made sure I switched it to my day off cause I don't accumulate a lot of sick time. I have to take days off for my transfusions, so that leaves me no leaway when I get sick with the flu like I am now.
Anyhoo I wish I was back here with my new buddy Big G, take a look isn't he cute?!

I am coughing and hackin'. I new I was getting a cold friday at work. My throat is scratchy, my nose is running and I feel like someone beat the crap out of me. Angela has been giving me pills to stop the cough. I slept on and off all day. I watched "8 mile" a movie with eminem, and part of the movie "THE LAST DRAGON!" That's all for now.
